The Scout has speed, and packs a lot of firepower. Though you probably won't be replying any time soon. Deus Ex Machina - A god from the machine |

RE: Scout now overpowered?
It seems more overpowered than it is, because the average individual player is bound to get FaN-killed a couple of times more than they can tolerate. After that sure, most of the scouts who killed you get killed quickly, but you don't really care anymore, you died already.
If we compare this to the reasons someone could call the heavy OP, there are differences. It's definitely not usually a surprise to be killed by a heavy, and unless he's spinning and aimed at you and you're running in a straight line straight to or from him, it isn't instantaneous either. But you're bound to have a hard time, or at least a harder than usual time killing him. So yeah, scout isn't really overpowered, but it easily seems so because scouts past a certain level of skill, using the FaN, can get an almost guaranteed kill if they're able to surprise you. Then he usually is left with half his health because of your retaliation, or being killed because someone saw you getting FaNned. |

But the simple fact is that he SHOULD. He only has two shots with that pimped out shotgun, so he needs to make one kill and get out as soon as possible. There is no way in hell a FaN scout can take out two (decent) enemies on his own. So, Scout OP? Nope, just an annoying Hit 'n Run class. |

RE: Scout now overpowered?
I say the scout isn't OP like most of you say,
though; like any class, you can make them overpowered if you master how you play scout. for example i can kill a few players just by using sandman (even with the health deduction). So yh i have seen people who can dominate like mad with scout. though i will admit the FaN is rubbish and is mainly for quick kills. |

RE: Scout now overpowered?
The only OP part about the fan is the HUGE knockback, even after the nerf.
Once that's reduced, especially on heavies, than the Scout's okay in my book. Even though the Scattergun is still better than the FaN, it still doesn't make it overpowered. Hephaestus and Ymir ![]()

RE: Scout now overpowered?
I'd rather the fan not get any knockback so I can maximise the power of the second shot.
