So, now that everyone at this forum had the chance to play this map (it runs 24/7 on the tf2forum server) .. what do y'all think about it?

Personally I think Pipeline is a pretty good and fun to play map, but there is one problem with it's logic I think. On the last stage if you win you blow up your own base.. what's the point of doing that :| ?

That and, like Steel, many players have NO IDEA how to play the map! It's so frustrating, they get caught into playing just defense or just offense.

If you play just defense, with no-one pushing your own cart to catch up or take over, then no matter how slowly they're going the other team will eventually win!
And if you're playing just offense, all they need to do is send people to slow down your cart as the rest of the team Caps relatively easily.

It was fun when I played for a bit, except BLU sucked and kept losing so I switched to RED and then it auto-switched me back to BLU, haha.

Then I retreated back to 2fort.

100% agreed. I love playing spy, and soldier on this map though. (Walks up behind cart, 4x backstabs) (Shoots rockets at cart, all opposition drops in the water)

Agreed, there should be something you can destroy at the end of the third (final) round, like a wacky looking rocket or another KKKKRRRAAAAZZZZYYYYY object.

Really. Valve definitely put some time into this update. Obviously they thought time made up for the thought...

It's pretty good, I just wish the walkways were a bit wider on the final cap because a damn pyro, demo or soldiers can easily stop the whole cart by himself if everyone falls off. Sad

RE: plr_pipeline
I hate it. The map encourages the 2 things I don't like in maps in TF2. Spawn raping and spam. Sad

Other then that, I can't believe Valve released a map this buggy and haven't even fixed any of the bugs yet.
2 of the major bugs that are just unacceptable in an official map:
- There are barrels on stage 2 which clip.
- As an engineer you can open part of a door on stage 1 during set up time, building a forward sentry ahead of time and thus closing off the other team option to reach the balcony near the spawn.

I'd like to see this too. At least before Valve ninja patches it.
