Bug Info Section Corrections
Here you can post anything you see wrong with the Information section of the site. If it is wrong, tell us why and optionally, what you would replace it with. If a section is blank, you can write up the information for it. There currently isn't any reward for helping, but perhaps Deviance might later give out a rank or rep or something.

When posting, please provide:
-What page it is on (example: scout.html)
-The problem / error
-(Optional) Your correction / change

So if you feel like volunteering for the community, go for it!

RE: Info Section Corrections
People who help out with filling in info and if you are fairly active on the forums will recieve the honorable rank of ''Forum Hero'' , and a stylish looking blue username Awesome Face . Ezo is the first person to be promoted to this rank, because he has already put very much work into TF2Forum without wanting any kind of reward for it. And that's why he more than deserves a promotion Smile.

RE: Info Section Corrections
Actually, I did notice that a bunch of the info was missing or blank. I'll fill in what I can to the best of my knowledge.

Classes - The Pyro http://www.tf2forum.com/main/pyro.html

Information
The Pyro is one of the deadliest close-combat classes thanks to his signature flamethrower. With it, he can set enemies on fire, who will take extra damage and possibly even die from the burning. Enemy Spies, cloaked or disguised, are also vulnerable to the flames, making a Pyro one of the best classes for catching them. However, at anything longer than short ranges, the Pyro is fairly ineffective at doing anything but pestering the enemy. He does what he does best in cramped spaces, where enemies can't escape from him.

Biography (taken from http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=1711 )
Only two things are known for sure about the mysterious Pyro: he sets things on fire and he doesn't speak. In fact, only the part about setting things on fire is undisputed. Some believe his occasional rasping wheeze may be an attempt to communicate through a mouth obstructed by a filter and attached to lungs ravaged by constant exposure to his asbestos-lined suit. Either way, he's a fearsome, inscrutable on-fire Frankenstein of a man. If he even is a man.

Weapons and Items - Flamethrower
Max Ammo: 200
Range: Short

Information: The Pyro's signature weapon. He sets enemies on fire with it. What else is there to say? Well, it can also spend 25 ammo for a compressed airblast, which pushes enemies back. It can also extinguish the flames of friendly burning teammates.

Weapons and Items - Backburner
Max Ammo: 200
Damage: Same as the Flamethrower.
Range: Same as the Flamethrower.
Rate of Fire: Same as the Flamethrower.
Reload Time: None.

Unlocked: Earn Pyro Milestone 2, or picked up randomly.

Information: The Backburner does not have the airblast ability of the regular Flamethrower, but all hits from behind are crits. This encourages a "stealthier" playstyle on the Pyro's end.

Weapons and Items - Shotgun
Information: This is the standard shotgun that other class loadouts, such as Soldier and Engineer, come with. It gives the Pyro a small degree of effectiveness at medium range.

Weapons and Items - Flare Gun
Unlocked: Earn Pyro Milestone 1, or picked up randomly.

Information: The Flare Gun is a long-range solution for the Pyro. The flares travel a long distance and set whoever they hit on fire. However, it does very little damage on its own, and, unlike the Shotgun, is useless underwater.

Weapons and Items - Fire Axe
Range: Melee
Reload Time: N/A

Information: The Pyro's melee weapon.

Weapons and Items - The Axtinguisher
Damage: 50% damage against non-burning enemies
Range: Same as the Fire Axe.
Reload Time: N/A

Unlocked: Earn Pyro Milestone 3, or picked up randomly.

Information: The Axtinguisher is an alternative to the Fire Axe that always lands a critical hit on burning foes. However, it only does half the damage of a regular axe hit against non-burning foes.

More to come soon!

Classes- The Demoman

Information
The most versatile class in Team Fortress 2, A skilled Demoman is an asset to any team, whether attacking or defending and unlike other classes, both his primary and secondary weapons are important to his role.

In Defense, his Pipe Bomb Launcher can lay down elaborate minefields or hidden traps around Control Points or Intelligence briefcases and is especially good at closing off chokepoints.

Offensively, his pipe bombs are the best possible weapon for taking out Engineer buildings.

His Grenade launcher is a unique weapon that fires in a unique way. Difficult to master but truly deadly in the hands of an experienced player.

The Demoman excels at mid range combat and is somewhat weak if he is attacked directly or from long range but the ability to both defend and destroy enemy defenses make him a vital component of any team.

Weapons and Items-Grenade Launcher
Type:Projectile
Max Ammo:16
Rounds:4
Damage:err...check TF2wiki.net Awesome Face
Taunt: Demoman lifts up his crotch guard to show off a piece of paper with a smiley face and shouts "kABOOM"

Information:
After you're done laying pipe bombs with the secondary weapon, switch back to the Grenade Launcher as you can still detonate the pipe bombs with the right mouse button. Try to use the grenade's ability to bounce around corners to keep you out of the enemy's line of fire. Also note that the grenades launch a little to the right of the crosshair so adjust your aim to the right.

The grenades only explode on contact if they haven't bounced once. If they do bounce, it'll take a couple of seconds to explode so spamming and enclosed area isn't too bad an idea but you've only got twenty rounds and your reload speed is horrendous so make them count.

Weapons and Items-Pipe Bomb Launcher
Type:Projectile
Max Ammo:24
Rounds:8
Damage:err...check TF2wiki.net Awesome Face
Taunt: Demoman does a pirouette and then flashes a "V" sign.

The Demoman's secondary weapon is arguably even more important than his Primary one!

Pipe bombs stick to any surface and have great splash damage that stacks as well. Lay these on a control point or near your intelligence to provide a good layer of defense.

Better yet, Hide your bombs to lay traps near heavily trafficked areas. Placing pipe bombs just around a corner or on the door's frame is a great way to gib enemies before they even realize they walked into a minefield!

Your pipe bombs are also the best possible weapon for removing Engineer nests. Since they all explode at once, the Engineer doesn't have a chance to repair his buildings and the splash damage means you can usually take him, his Sentry AND his dispenser out all at once.

Weapons and Items-Bottle
Type:Melee
Max Ammo:N/A
Rounds:N/A
Damage:Same as all melee weapons
Taunt: Demoman flips his bottle, shouts "Cheers Mate!", takes a swig and then burps loudly.

The Demoman's Melee weapon. If you preform a critical hit, the bottle breaks. This doesn't effect gameplay and is purely visual.

RE: Info Section Corrections
Classes-The Engineer

Information

The mainstay of any defense, a defending team without an Engineer are at a huge disadvantage and even in attack the good ol' engineer can be handy to have around thanks to his teleporters and dispensers which he can use to create a front line fortress

His sentry gun is one of the most fearsome weapons in the game, so much so that most matches revolve around which team can maneuver past the enemy's sentry guns first. Therefore, the Engineer can be the lynch-pin which holds a team together.

Weapons and Items -Shotgun

The standard shotgun that comes with many other classes, such as the Soldier and Heavy. Use this for dealing with short range targets like pesky spies.

Taunt:The Engineer lays down a good old fashioned Southern Hoedown.

Weapons and Items -Pistol

The same pistol that is used by the Scout. While it seems weak at first glance, it's high rate of fire and greater accuracy than the shotgun means it's very much useful for picking off enemies at medium range and even long range if you don't have any other option.

Taunt: The Engineer flourishes his pistol and laughs.

Weapons and Items -Wrench

The Engineer's Melee weapon, though it does a lot more.

The wrench works just fine for bashing in skulls but hitting buildings being constructed (including those of other friendly engineers) doubles the building speed of the object. Hitting fully built objects will repair them with your stored metal, if the building is fully repaired then the engineer will begin to upgrade the building. 200 metal is required to advance one level up to a maximum of 3 for any building.

Taunt: The Engineer points and laughs at whatever is in front of him.

Weapons and Items -PDA (build)

The Engineer's PDA allows him to build his 4 buildings: A sentry gun (130 metal), a dispenser (100 metal) and A teleporter (entry and exit each cost 125 metal).

A fact most new engineers don't realize is that when you select an object, right clicking will rotate the blueprint. This is critical when laying down Sentry Guns and useful when placing teleporter exits (team-mates don't like it when the teleport and are faced with a brick wall).

Weapons and Items -PDA (Destroy)

Used to destroy already built buildings in case you want to move them.

Objects -Sentry

The Engineer's primary weapon and one of the deadliest in the game. The sentry gun is 100% accurate and rains huge amount of damage to anyone unlucky to wander into its range.

It has its shortcomings though. Of course, it's completely immobile so it makes as easy target if caught from outside of its range. It can only target a single person at a time and when you place it, it becomes Public Enemy #1. Everyone on the enemy team will be targeting your sentry and you'll really have to be attentive and make sure it stays up.

Good sentry placement in crucial. You'll want to find a place that minimizes the enemies field of fire while maximizing your own. Also, try to place the sentry in enclosed areas to prevent enemies hitting it from outside it's short detection range.

You can also askew defensive and try offensive engineering (or "Ninjaneering") where you tuck a small level one sentry gun in a heavily trafficked location and rack up kills from unsuspecting enemies. When it's destroyed, build another one somewhere else! Keep them guessing!

Objects -Dispenser

A vital tool for building a front line base or providing a refuge from the front lines.

A dispenser hands out a health at a constant rate and also provides ammo and metal (for you and other engineers) but the latter two aren't constant. They are produced at a constant rate and stored in the dispenser until someone withdraws it. If it is empty you have to wait until it makes more.

If you're in a location without much metal, consider building a dispenser before your sentry to provide you with building material.

Dispensers are also very good at jamming up doorways and spy checking (disguised spies must jump over your buildings, friendlies can pass right through).

Objects -Teleporter

A good teleporter system can mean the difference between victory and defeat, especially on the larger maps where it would take slower classes over 10 seconds to reach the battle-zone after respawning.

The teleporters are actually two buildings: One entrance and One exit. Pretty self explanatory.

Place a teleporter entrance immediately when you spawn, go back to replenish your metal and THEN go forward with the rest of the team to save on time.

Once you've placed the exit on the front lines, upgrade it to level three which should suit the needs of a decently sized team (if the scouts don't hog the tele that is.)

Your teleporters are prime targets for spies camping your team's base so try to get your team to spy check a little when they exit the spawn.

Nope, either me or Ezo still need to code that, and I hope Ezo is going to do it because my coding skills are medicore at best.

RE: Info Section Corrections
Sure thing. I was planning on filling out the Medic section next, but homework and general laziness have gotten in the way thus far. I'll try to do it later this week, though.
