Hitting moving targets
I don't get how some snipers I play with always get headshots on moving targets! Seriously, like in the map egypt when they are coming for the last cp they normally come down from the main entrance (the stairs). Its pretty hard to predict where the head is but some people look like they just know where it is. How do you do that?

RE: Hitting moving targets
Practice, I'd imagine. Some people have been playing FPSes for years longer than Team Fortress 2 has had a price tag.

Typically the reason why young people can't play TF2 very well. I started playing FPS's when I was 14, and since then I've gotten much better. Not godly, as I don't play FPS's very often. But much better. Deus Ex Machina - A god from the machine |

RE: Hitting moving targets
Just reaction time, I guess. The easiest way to hit a moving target is to put the dot slightly ahead of the person, and shoot as they pass through it.

This doesn't really work as well when you're talking about enemies jumping off the battlements in 2Fort. Deus Ex Machina - A god from the machine |

I find it hard if they're already falling down, because you have to anticipate their movement in two directions. Down and left for example. Deus Ex Machina - A god from the machine |

RE: Hitting moving targets
Fuck! I was on a ctf_sawmill server today, and I happened to get two headshots in a row with the HUNTSMAN!
Apparently, one of these headshots was the admin of the server and I was automatically banned ![]() fucking bullshit ![]() Steam Name: BrownMasterV |
